About Me
Hello! I'm Maxine Weldon, a biological illustrator.
From a young age I've always enjoyed drawing and art. For the most part it was a hobby I had throughout K-12 schooling. Beyond just creating a finished piece, I've always enjoyed the creative process and the steps that go into making something.

Another big interest of mine was nature and exploring the natural world. Science was one of my favorite subjects. So when I learned I could combine my love for art and sciences into one I enrolled as a BPMI major at Iowa State University. There I've been able to formally study and and get my degree.

My goals now are to create illustrations of our natural world in ways that are both eye catching and accurate. Use my work to spread awareness, information, and educate others.

Can you use my work?
No, my art is not free to use. It is prohibited for my art to be copied, edited, reproduced, or otherwise used in any form without express written permission from myself, the artist. All rights are reserved.
